Agree, real world case data trumps anecdotes. But then, how do you explain what we see in the UK reinfection data stratified by age group? Available at: https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk

It sure looks to me like reinfection rates for all age groups are rising to new highs (above the BA.1/BA.2 peaks) in the recent summer months of BA.4/BA.5 prevalence in the UK. Happy to send you a graph, as I can't seem to post it here.

My wife and I both got Omicron in January. Both in our late 30s not vaxxed. We both then got Covid again at the beginning of August. The initial illness was a terrible cold, but the second go around was much easier. My wife had a day of chills and fever and I felt "off" for a day or two. Had she not gotten a fever and chills I would have never tested to discover that my tickly throat and unusual tiredness was in fact a second Covid infection.
