Child health is full of noise. Viral scares that aren’t scares. Treatments that don’t work but persist. Evidence that gets mangled before it reaches parents or clinicians.

This newsletter aims to cut through it.

I’m Dr Alasdair Munro, a paediatric specialist in both infectious diseases and immunology, and a clinical trialist working in the UK. I run vaccine and antibiotic trials, I’ve published in the Lancet, and I’ve spent years in emergency departments with worried parents and sick children.

The Munro Report covers outbreaks as they happen, the child health questions parents actually ask, and important research controversies. The newsletter is written for anyone wanting the real picture, not the reassuring one, and has been quoted in outlets such as The Sunday Times.

No sensationalism or false certainty. Just the evidence, digested carefully.
